Executive Director

HACC seeks an individual to oversee all programs of the agency, including an 82-child licensed child care center, Infant/Toddler Early Intervention services, Special Health Care Needs program, and Healthy Start Home Visitor services. 

Applicants must be licensed as a Director of Special Education or Special Education Supervisor/Coordinator with District Leadership (Pre K-12). A minimum of two years experience with Part C services is required; Early Childhood endorsement preferred. The selected candidate will oversee personnel, financial, licensure, and collaboration with community partners. 

HACC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, through employment with USD 489/Hays, which includes health insurance. Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include coordinating child care enrollment, scheduling staff, assisting with personnel operations, and submitting reports and billing for the Child and Adult Food Program. 

We are looking for an individual who is efficient, organized and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who also performs well as a member of a team. A high school diploma (or equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience in an office setting or Bachelor's Degree plus one (1) year of experience in an office setting required.

Part-Time Special Health Care Needs Care Coordinator

We are accepting applications for a Part-Time Special Health Care Needs Care Coordinator. This position could potentially become Full-Time.

Job duties include assisting families with program applications and paperwork, providing care coordination to assure needs are met, making referrals to community services and agencies, maintaining client records and completing database reports.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and good communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills helpful. May require some travel, occasionally overnight.

Substitute Paraeducators

We are hiring for part-time Substitute Paraeducators.

All hours Monday-Friday. Looking specifically for all day and 7 am -1 pm hours. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a love of working with children. $7.25/hr.
